Super Ipsum

If you're in the graphic design, typesetting or publishing fields, you're likely familiar with placeholder text called Lorem Ipsum, which is derived from the writings of Cicero.

Super Ipsum offers a faith-related alternative, using the Latin Vulgate translation of the Bible's book of Job. The first sentence is from Job 39:23 – Super ipsum sonabit pharetra, micat hasta et acinaces – or as translated into English, Above him shall the quiver rattle, the spear and shield shall glitter. Subsequent paragraphs are each entire chapters of the rest of Job (chapters 40-42). The only change from the original is question marks have been replaced with periods.

Generate your own batch of Super Ipsum below, then cut-and-paste it into your document. Enjoy!
